THERAPY FOR ADHD
While everyone’s ADHD symptoms may present differently, you might notice difficulty getting started on tasks, trouble with organization and self-prioritization, emotional dysregulation, and variable attention span.
Adults who experience Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder are set up for a complicated life in our timely, productivity driven society.
You probably notice problems with your executive functioning or your mental processes that allow you to prioritize, plan, organize, and adapt. As you’ve attempted to shift and mold yourself into something you’re not, you’ve probably been denying the opportunity to identify and understand your strengths.
While consulting with a doctor is the first line of treatment, working with a skilled mental health professional can be a useful avenue of support as you learn to manage your ADHD symptoms. Psychoeducation is a major aspect of treatment. Your therapist will equip you with knowledge, helping you to feel understood by the most important person in your life … YOU!
Many people with ADHD experience low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, work distress, and something called “rejection sensitive dysphoria” with intense emotional responses to real or perceived rejection or criticism.

Cancellation policy
We prioritize our clients by holding space for each person we see. When clients cancel an appointment, our clinicians offer that space to other clients who need an appointment that week. When clients cancel within 24-hours or do not show, other clients miss out on an opportunity to be seen.
If you do not cancel your scheduled therapy appointment and have not notified us at least 24 business hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
