Sometimes we may be giving our all to something, hoping for a different result. When it doesn’t happen, these feelings can make us feel stuck and even overwhelmed. This is where I come in. My role as a therapist is to give my clients the tools to achieve different ways of feeling and living in congruence with our authentic self.
My therapeutic approach is systemic. In our sessions, clients can expect to identify the relationships, social and societal systems that are present in their lives. That way, we can begin to see what is working and what isn't. I believe that coming to therapy is a courageous step, which is why I take a compassionate yet direct approach. I meet my clients where they are, authentically and with empathy.
When it comes to my experience with couples, I find meaning working with those struggling with communication patterns, disconnection, desire mismatch and infidelity recovery. I am sex and kink-positive and lgbtqia+ affirming. I also enjoy working with individuals, particularly, women navigating their workspace, relationships and family dynamics.
Some of my intersecting identities are:
first generation Mexican/American - proud dog mom - WIFE - traveler - I am an lgbtqia advocate and ally
