amanda’s credentials and philosophy

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist(amft) - Clinical License 208.000983 - Pronouns (she/ella) - Individuals & Couples

I believe that you are the expert on yourself and your relationships. Whether you are an individual navigating personal growth, life transitions, or relationship changes, or a couple looking to strengthen your connection, I want to support you in making meaningful, lasting changes. I take a client-centered approach to therapy: you bring the story, and I help you make sense of it while uncovering patterns and building the skills to create the life that you want.

My practice is rooted in attachment theory and emotionally focused therapy. We will take a deep dive into examining your emotions, identifying patterns, and breaking the habits that keep you stuck in a loop. I offer a balance of warmth and thoughtful challenge, and value authenticity in the therapeutic space. As your therapist, I’m by your side as a teammate, helping you add new tools to your emotional toolbox so you can navigate life with confidence and clarity.

I work best with clients who are motivated and curious– people who are ready to dig deep, challenge old patterns, and embrace change with open arms. If you’re excited to explore what’s possible and take an active role in your growth, I’d love to work with you.

Some of my intersecting identities include:
